Can you storage vmotion view 4.6 desktops?

I think the answer is no since they are using linked clones but I wanted to ask anyway....

You can storage vmotion full desktops as far as I know but linked cloens aren't supported.   From a linked clone standpoint you can utilize the reblance option to place them on another datastore.

One more thing.  If I want to move the desktops to a particular LUN, do I remove the LUNs from the Pools or would that cause issues to the desktops that are still on them?

If you wanted to move all the desktops to a new LUN you would go into the pool settings, choose the new LUN,  de select the old LUN,  hit ok, and then go rebalance the pool.   That would move them all over to the new LUN but keep in mind that this also performs a recompose on the clone so it will definitely get set back to whatever the parent is.
