Anyone have any idea why I can click on the console tab in VSphere and view the user working and on some other VM's I either see that it is locked (XP) or I see a black screen (Windows 7). I think that I have figured out when I can see their desktop and that is when they are connecting through the VIew Client installed on their laptop or desktop. I have not noticed this when they are going through their thin client.
Thanks in advance.
In View 5 there is a new GPO to control this behaviour.
In 4.6 is there a known way to stop this from happening? I need to be able to tell my supervisor that there is no way that I or any of the VIEW admins can shadow his desktop without him knowing.
In 4.5 I have seen users sessions showing as connected at the console but I have never been able to see what a user is doing if I open a console window in vCenter. Do these users show up differently in the connection broker inventory?
