Can't move replicas

Hello All

I am experiencing  problem with the View Composer SVIConfig tool where we are trying to unprotect three replicas in order to storage vmotion them onto another Datastore.

The command is not working and is erroring when it tries to connect to the vcentre SDK with error code 4.

How will I move the replicas to the new datastore?

Thanks in advance

John

Storage vMotion of replica VMs is not supported. Supported method to do this is to specify a new datastore for the desktops and/or replicas(in case you are listing separate replica datastores) and then use rebalance.

I think the easiest method would be to create a new snapshot on the parent image and then recompose the pool to that new snapshot while specifying the new datastore as the location for the replica.   That should create a new replica on the new datastore.
