Can Not Connect Using VMware Horizon Client

I can not connect to The VMware Horizon client for Windows on one desktop, while it works with at least 3 other machines on the same network.  I am using VMware Horizon Client Version 4.40 build-5171611.  It allows me to connect, but when I click on a remote desktop it runs for about 15 seconds before telling me "The connection to the remote computer timed out."  I am connecting via PCoIP, which is required.  Connecting with Microsoft RDP appears to work, but I get a notice saying the requested session access is denied when using RDP.

I have tried connecting on multiple other computers, both wired and wireless, on the same network.  All of them work just fine, except the computer I need to use.  This leads me to believe it is an issue with the settings on this desktop.

The computer is running Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit.  Remote desktop version 10.0.15063.  I've turned off windows firewall, rebooted, and tried uninstalling and installed a couple other versions of (version 4.5 and 4.2) and haven't seen any different behavior.

I'm running out of ideas here, and will take any suggestions.  I need this to work, even if it means replacing the computer.

Hello Sullivan,

Did it work previous?

The reason why you cannot connect with RDP is that you must be a member of the remote user group on that machine.

It's sound like that port 4172 was blocked on the local machine. i've read that you disabled the local firewall, is there a antivirus software which controls also your firewall?

check also your local host file and static routes

Hello,

Did you see anything in the View client logs?

Thank you for the response.  Yes, it did work previously on this machine.  It worked for a year before suddenly stopping.

I am looking into the other questions you have.

The only application that I have ever installed is VMware Horizon Client.  Anything else running had to have come with that.

I checked the installed programs, and only "VMware Horizon Client" is listed under the publisher of VMware, Inc.

I need assistance.  I am a PM and not very technically savvy, but found this thread today and it describes my problem exactly.  I have been using VMware on my desktop and after upgrading to 4.7 today it still seemed to work.  Then this afternoon it stopped connecting with exactly the same scenario described by the author of this thread.  I have a laptop upgraded and it's working fine off the same home network.  Please help.
