Can I use vGPU without Horizon View

Hi all,

Help me please with vGPU deployment.

I want install Quadro RTX 8000 in HPE Proliant DL385 Gen10 and use VMware vSphere for 10 VMs for AutoCAD, Solidworks and 3D Studio.

I don't want deploy Horizon View completely because I think it's too expensive for my purpose. I want a minimal infrastructure for this purpose. Can I use only VMware vSphere and vCenter for my purpose, without Horizon View? At the same time can I connect to these vGPU VMs through Horizon Client?

Which licenses needed?

Hi kshkvlr

To connect to vGPU based VM using horizon client, you either need to have horizon agent on that VM (which requires horizon connection server) Or else if you don't want to deploy connection server, install view agent direct connection plug-in (VDAC) which will allow you to directly connect to the VM.

Can you send to me link to vGPU guide?
