CHANGE PORT 443 UAG -HORIZON

Can you change port 443 for connection to the uag? I change it in the horizon server?

You don't need to change anything on the Horizon connection server. Only on the UAG side and your firewall.

Just know that if you switch to using port 443 port on your UAG, the clients will no longer be able to use UDP and will have to use TCP for the streams.

I know this, because we had to engage VMware Support to determine why our UDP wasn't working properly.

UDP has a better "feel" to the desktop.

My firewall is open port 10443 my UAG not respond the 10443 port

So did you configure the UAG to use port 10443? And for what?

Port 443 is in use by another application, hat's why I want to use 10443

 

ip publica 10443==> port forwarding iplocal UAG 10443  but it does not connect me

Hi @SDMENCIA ,

 

Sorry for the delayed response, but how are you connecting to the UAG? Via browser or the Horizon client? At which point is it going wrong? Any error messages?
