In addition to those listed, I recommend disabling provisioning on all your pools and disabling the view composer. Re-enable after the upgrade. Plan for a potential outage if your pools fillup.

What version of view are you running? You might want to think about what version or vcenter you want to run. Might want to go right to 6.5. I was in your position with Horizon 7 and wish i woud have been on vCenter 6.5. Just saying.
