Bandwidth issue

Hi everyone !

I have some users that use VMware View from Internet.

When they open a PDF file or a image, our Internet connexion doesn't have enough upload speed.

The result is that PDF take few seconds before the user can see that it's opened.

Trying to browse the PDF is the same thing.

There are something to do like decrease Windows color ?

Are you using PCOIP as your protocol for external users?   I seen a huge performance increase when reviewing PDF documents via PCOIP vs RDP.

I use RDP protocol.

When I try to use PCoIP, I got a blank screen and disconnect after few second.

Maybe the VPN or firewall issue. I will take a look this week

That's more than likely because the right firewall ports aren't open for PCoIP to work externally.

You need 80, 443 & 4172. Be sure that 4172 is open for both TCP & UDP.
