Automatic Office 2010 Activation

Hi All,

Is there any way to force MS Office to activate without the first user logging into every VM having to initiate activation?  This is causing a huge issue, especially as often as we recompose.

Thanks in advance!

We were able to get around this by installing a Microsoft KMS server.  It does depend on what type of licensing you have for Office 2010.

There are different ways to license Office 2010 that would may help elimiante your need to activate on each VM.   You could contact your Microsoft rep for a way to do it.   This could be  KMS server which the other poster spoke about.  This would automatically activate instances of office that came online.
