Auto launch App

Is there a way to auto launch an application that is on a view vm from a short cut created on the users desktop? So they launch the client, it takes them to the connection broker sign-on, we then pass the pool and domain so it currently opens a desktop. What we want to do is now have it open a desktop and then launch a specific application. This not needed on all VM's just a select few, hopefully controlled by command line for the view client.

does this make sense?

Only if you change the shell of the XP or Vista Guest from Explorer to what ever the application it. if you are wanting to do this I suggest that you investigate Citrix Presentation Server. or windows 2008 seamless applications. it is not a posibility with View. it is not a apples to apples usage.

If you are simply trying to launch an app once the user is connected to the VM, why not create a group policy for the users you want this to happen for and have the policy associate a logon script which launches the application?
