Authentication in VMware View failed

Hi All,

This forum has been very usefull for me in the past but for my issue now I can't find any solution.

When a user is forced to change his/her password when logging in to view client he/she get's the error "unknown user name or bad password".
When the user then starts a new session with view client and tries to login with the old password he/she can authenticate to view but when he/she chooses a desktop to logon to then on Windows level the user name or password is wrong.

If the user then tries to login to view client with the new password everything works fine.

This is a big issue for us because the user gets the message "unknown user name or bad password" and he can login with his old and his new password?!

Anybody knows what can be the issue?

Our phone is working overtime 🙂

I haven't heard of this happening.  I would recommend that you file a SR so we can look at the View Connection Server and View Client logs to see what is happening here.
