Authentication Domain

Hi,

Is it possible to specify the default authentication domain, or remove the option completely, in the VDM client? Our AD domain has a trust-relationship with another, but the 'other' one appears by default (presumably they're listed alphabetically).

My users need as few things to confuse them as possible!!!

Thanks,

Iain

If you are using the Web Access method of authenticating and logging in I don't think there is any way to accomplish this. There are command line parameters you can pass to the client that include domain so that may be something you want to look into. They were on page 69 on the 2.1 admin guide. You can also try the reg edit in the link below. It was given when 2.0 was out but may still be valid.

Thanks - I'd seen the command line options in the admin guide, but I'm expecting most of my users to use the web client.

The community post suggests that fixing the domain for the web client has been entered as a feature request, so I'll keep 'em peeled for that!

Cheers,

Iain
