Unfortunately we could not write a guide that applied to Linux. Currently the Horizon Agent for Linux does not support installation onto physical devices. It detects that it is not being run on a virtual machine and prevents installation. We have raised this with the product managers to see if this is something that could be changed in the future.

Good doc, but it's missing a business continuation\disaster recovery plan. What options are there for a Horizon environment that doesn't include vCenter? In a BC\DR scenario, you can't uninstall\reinstall the Horizon agents on "X" number of physical desktops to point them to a different connection server pod, so CPA is basically out of the question. What are other folks doing?
