Hello, my organization is running Horizon Client 7 on our VMs. We typically have 2 monitors at each station. Occasionally a user will lock there computer and when they come back to it any open applications will have switched monitors. For example, Outlook on the right will now be on the left and Chrome on the left will now be on the right. It doesn't effect everyone all the time and it doesn't seem to make a difference whether I put them on VMBlast or PCoIP. Has anyone else seen this, or even better, know how to fix it? I appreciate any thoughts you can offer. Thank you
This sounds like it could be related to Power save settings. Are those settings the same across all of your systems?
Check to see if the monitor settings are set for suspend. If so when you unlock/wake the system each monitor may not wake at exactly the same time (tho to your eye it's imperceptible) Try setting the power save setting on all monitors to never and let us know if that helps.

That's a good point I hadn't thought of. Our power settings are the same across the board, power save setting on the monitors is set to never in Windows. However, the machines themselves go to sleep after 15 minutes, in turn the monitors go to sleep on their own. I'll see if I can do some testing to narrow it down. Thank you for the help
We've had issues with this but have not been able to get to the bottom of it. We have our power policy set to "High performance" and our monitors are also set to sleep after 15 minutes. I'll see if we can test turning that off.
We have a similar power policy, unfortunately I'm not able to play with the power settings and our admin is on vacation. When he returns I am going to approach him with the theory and see if he wants to change the power settings for a small pool to see if it helps.
Ours are set to never but they still exhibit this behavior.
