Any recommended WinXP VM swap file size?

Hi,

In general, what is the recommended Windows XP swap file size in a VM? I am thinking swap file size of 1024MB.

Why not just let Windows manage it? I think Windows usually starts the pagefile at the amount of memory you have plus 50% or something like that. Should be fine - if you start running into errors with Windows telling you it has to increase the size of the pagefile, then you can worry about it.

Agreed,

Let windows manage the page file. it does a reasonably good job of it anyway.

Agreed - this is one of those instances where you shouldn't let virtualization get in the way of your normal use of an OS.
