Agent version unknown

Hi all,

I have installed viewagent 5.0 32 bit on a windows XPprofessional sp3 32 bit machine. Document says that the version is compatible. But still Iam not able to access the desktop from client. I get the error as " the desktop sources are unavailable". I have disabled the firewall and also checked the connectivity betwen the machine and connection server. Please help me with this.

which status is shown in the view administrator for the desktops?

we facing the same problem. hope some1 gives a remedy :d

the status is "error" which asks to check the connectivity between VDM agent and connection server with FQDN. but thats working fine.

Check firewall settings to make sure all the necessary ports are opened between the VM image and the view connection broker.  I see this all the time.
