Agent failing to repair/uninstall

I'm running Horizon 8 2006.  Last night I was working on fixing a Win2016 server where VMware tools was not installed and I had to manually uninstall Tools to get it reinstalled.  I think while I was attempting to manually remove tools I might have deleted some files that the agent needed while cleaning up the c:\program files\vmware\ directory.  The agent is not reachable by the horizon server.  Now when I attempt to uninstall the agent it fails.  When I attempt repair it, it gets all the way to the 90% mark and just sits there.  Attached is the install/repair log.  I suspect I need to manually uninstall the agent and start over to get this fixed but I haven't found a proper manual uninstall for the agent in any KB.

Okay I was able to get the installer to view the system has not having the agent installed finally.  I had to pull out the following registry keys

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\BAE225D8889C29745A69A75EB43D0C28
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\BAE225D8889C29745A69A75EB43D0C28

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders
Search for the guid found in the other mentioned regkeys

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall{8D522EAB-C988-4792-A596-7AE54BD3C082

Then I had to stop all vmware services while installing and it finally worked.
