After upgrading from Win10 1909 to 20H2, 3D SVGA driver is not work.

I'm using version 6.7 of vSphere and version 7.13 of Horizon.

Windows updates are successful normally, but only 800*600 screen resolution is selected after the update, and I can't select other resolution.

Checking the graphics driver in devmgmt shows an ! mark on the VMware SVGA 3D icon, which also fails to update manually.

After clearing and reinstalling the View Agent, I can choose the normal screen resolution, but I'm not confident in reinstalling agents for hundreds of VMs.

Is View Agent and VMware 3D SVGA related? Until now, I thought VM Tools was related to graphics drivers...

Has anyone experienced the same symptoms as mine? I'd really appreciate it if you could give me any advice.

Best regards.

You may have had the tools vga driver overwrite the horizon one, which is fixed by the reinstall, which unfortunately is what you need to do.

Test unisntalling and isntalling it silently  and then pushing it out to the users with something like sccm or even a GPO should make it easy
