After creating pool every 5 minutes machine xyz has been deleted?

Good morning,

I have a curious behaviour.

We have a View 4.6 environment, and want to provision new desktop pools. We use linked clone desktops.

After creating the pool in the View Administrator, I can see that a new folder was created in the vCenter. But than nothing happened.

No desktop was provisioned.

Also in the View Administrator I cannot see any error message.

In the Events section every 5 minutes an info message appears: "machine xyz has been deleted"???

Have anybody an idea whats wrong with this?

Hi at all,

I could solve this.

There seems to be a DNS problem between the View connection server and the Replica server.

If I logged in to the View Administrator on the replica server, I could see other desktop and pool entities, than I logged in directly to the first connection server.

So the communication between both connection servers was not correct.

So I uninstalled the replica server, than I re-installed this server instance.

Now the communication between the connection servers seems to be fine and correct.

And now I can create new desktop pools without any problems!
