Adding hardware to the base image

Hello all,

I've a base image that I used for linked clones. All our Virtual desktops are going to be accessed via iGELs (all our old and out of scope PC's rebuilt as iGELs)

It works a charm.....

However.... we use smartcard terminal keyboards (HP ones) and there are two models out there. Once doesn't need any additional drivers and just works fine.  The other one calls up the found new hardware wizard. It identifies as VMWARE vIEW VIRTUAL usb DEVICE 01. Asks for permission to go to windows update for a driver. If granted it then installs the device as a o2Micro USB Smart card reader and pulls down the driver (oz773.sys)

I'd like this not to happen (better user experience) and I don't fancy logging into every VD in the pool to run through the wizard. I tried copying the .sys file into the drivers folder in windows\system32 but it made no difference.

Any ideas? It's holding up my roll out so all advice welcome (it'll keep everyone off my back too!)

Thanks folks

Chris D
