Add the Username into the Annotations in vCenter automatically

hi

we have a view setup with 3 persistent pools, and we would like to have the username from the connectet user into the annotations in the vcenter.

with this solution we have more informations directly in vcenter (for support and perfomance charts)

how can we provide this informations automatically to vcenter?

Try looking at this. I believe it does what you are looking for though the author says that may not be 100% reliable. Still, it might be worth looking into and maybe it will lead you down a path to a better solution.

the problem is, i have powershell not installed at the vm's. but at the next recompose i install it and i will test this.

hopefully will vmware include this "service" in view 4.5 directly, because the viemanager has the informations.
