Active/Active Configuration

Hi all!

Just thinking about how to setup an active/active environment with Horizon 7 including DMZ access via Security Server.

I.e. there are two locations containing a number of hosts, let´s say 6 hosts at each location. How do I need to configure this thing to have a high available Horizon environment?

Is it best to have a stretched cluster containing all hosts or is it better to have two separate clusters, one at each location?

Using Load Balancing is mandatory I guess, so having a number of connection security servers at each location is also necessary.

Maybe having an external load balancer (Netscaler or something) which connects to the security servers at both places?

Thanks a lot and best regards,

Oliver

Hi,

Yes, you need a load balancer on top of Security Servers/ Access points and configure 2 Horizon sites in CPA.It is the only supported configuration when you have two sites connected by wan/man.
