Hello everybody
I have configured my Access Point Appliance version 2.8.0.0 Build 4689690 and my Connection View Server and I can connect to the appliance and I can see the Horizon Portal.
How can I change the port for the Horizon Portal?
The Horizon Portal should be reachable under https://myvdi.example.com:5555.
Best regards

The solutions is actually pretty simple. Using the forwarding during the deployment of the OVA is not working properly.
You can solve the issue however by editing the file "/opt/vmware/gateway/conf/ipv4-forwardrules".
Simply copy the two entries about 443 and change 443 to whatever port you want to use (e.g. 4443).
The file should contain those two additional lines:
-A PREROUTING -p tcp -m tcp --dport 4443 -j REDIRECT --to-ports 6443
-A OUTPUT -d 127.0.0.1/32 -p tcp -m tcp --dport 4443 -j REDIRECT --to-ports 6443
Haven't tried to change the port myself, but maybe you can use REST for this.
See: http://www.carlstalhood.com/vmware-access-point/#restexternal
If it would be a View Security Server, I would follow these KB: https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=20327...
But I need it for the Access Point Appliance.
Any hints?
