About USB Redirection

By connecting to Windows through the Horizon client, the default USB drive is displayed as a network shared disk. I want the USB drive to be displayed as a local disk. How can I do this? I have previously tested other thin clients that can display USB flash drives as local disks and perform routine operations such as formatting. Please advise on how to implement this.

What client OS are you using? Did you enable CDR(client drive redirection)? If yes please turn it off to see if it makes difference.

I want the USB device plugged into the thin client to be displayed as a local device when connected to the virtual machine, rather than in the form of a network disk

The client operating system has been tested on Windows and Linux, and agent redirection and redirection on the client have been set. The displayed USB is in the form of disk sharing, not local disk.

Hello-  What is the client you are connecting from?  HP ThinPro, Horizon Client running on a Windows laptop, etc?  Ofox (reply above) is correct that there are different ways to share or redirect drives and devices.  Most versions of the Horizon Client have options for this.  You will want to look for "USB Redirection" and ensure that it is enabled.  The behavior you are describing sounds like you have only enabled "Drive Redirection".  There is also a similar setting/feature that needs to be enabled on the agent running on the VM(s) you are connecting to.
