When connecting to the View environment, on Android, the symbols don't seem to work. I can't type & é " and so on. This does work on iOS so I believe the client is the problem here. Any suggestions?
I am using an external bluetooth keyboard by the way. The onscreen keyboard seems to work just fine.
This because the bluetooth keyboard is physical keyboard and the client might be failed to detect your hardware keyboard type due to various reasons.
For better user experience, Horizon Client provides better solution called "Sending a String of Characters". You can refer to Android User guide. You will benefit with it even with pool WAN connection to your desktop.
How To: if external keyboard attached, please tap the pen icon on the left side of the Ctrl key at the bottom of screen to display the local input buffer.
Please feel free to contact me any question.
Have a good day!

Peter
Thanks for the reply Peter!
I used your suggestion already but I'm using my VDI desktop as a full time desktop and my Android device should be my only hardware device to connect to it. So it's not usable during an entire workday to keep entering text in that field. It should just work like it does on iOS or the Windows client I have tested (with the same keyboard).
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
David
