Try to hold Alt key a little bit longer than usual, and then press Tab key. Sometimes, it helps.

+1. Same issue. This really limits publishing remote desktop as a published app.

Hi all,

There is an easy solution to this but requires a bit of user re-education.

1) Make sure that under the RDP "Options" prior to connecting, that Apply Windows Key combinations" is set to "On this computer".

2) Once you have connected to the RDP Window, you must use the following key combinations:-

Windows shortcutRemote Desktop shortcutDescription
ALT+TABALT+PAGE UPSwitches between programs from left to right.
ALT+SHIFT+TABALT+PAGE DOWNSwitches between programs from right to left.
ALT+INSERTCycles through the programs in the order they were started.

Let me know if that works and if so, mark this as this Answer.

Hope that helps!

Thanks

Andrew

I am not administrator and i run published application (on web page with rdp sessions) mstsc w/o possibility to change settings.

My question is how to press alt+tab and Start button in RDP session only?
