AD_FAULT_FATAL error creating an instant clone pool

Every time i try to create an istant clone pool I get this error:

Error during Provisioning Initial publish failed: Fault type is AD_FAULT_FATAL - com.vmware.daas.cloneprep.ldap.LdapException$DnsException: Unable to DNS lookup for _kerberos._tcp.syslab.local using DNS provider(s) [dns:]

My AD, DNS, DHCP are working well so I do not understand why I get this problem

Did you try releasing IP Configuration with a cleanup script before creating the snapshot?

We are experiencing the same issue and have narrowed it down to the single 2019 DC in our environment. Removing the 2019 DC resolves it. We are working with VMware support to determine why.

Whats the functional level, I have a 2019 DC in my lab and it works fine.

We are at 2012 R2.

In regards to the orignal request, don't use .local, it may work in some cases but it can break things. If this is a lab just use .net or something, it doesn't need to be a registered domain.
