A bit confused about copy and paste in blast

Hi all,

I'm a bit confused about copy and paste feature of horizon client (NOT HTML) using blast protocol.

Somewhere in vmware docs I've found this: "The copy and paste feature has the following limitation: you cannot copy and paste files between a remote desktop and the file system on the local client computer".

So, are you telling me that I can't do a copy and paste with ctrl+c and ctrl+v of a file (whatever type of file, .txt, .doc, .reg, .zip) from my host machine to the guest machine and from guest to host?

I've set registry key in this way

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\VMware, Inc.\VMware Blast\Config]
"ClipboardState"="1"
"DnDState"="3"
"DnDSizeUnit"=dword:00000002
"DnDSize"=dword:00000010
"FileTransferState"="1"
"DnDFileState"="3"
"DnDTextState"="3"
"DnDRTFState"="3"
"DnDImageState"="3"
"DnDHTMLState"="3"
"DnDFileContentState"="3"

and seems working

- copy and paste of text content

- drag and drop of files (every file type)

but there's no way to do copy and paste with cltr+c and ctrl+v of files.

I've done something wrong or there's no possibilities to do this?

Thanks

No, you cannot Copy-n-Paste Files...just text/photo clipboard content.

Supported file formats include text, images, and RTF (Rich Text Format).
