So does anyone know when Horizon Suite 5.3 is going GA?  We just bought the entire suite about a month before 5.3 was "announced" at the Europe VMworld conference.  I held off on moving 5.2 into production thinking that 5.3 was just around the corner, now we are about 30 days post announcement and if it is going to be much longer maybe I will just roll with 5.2.  I would rather not do that but if it is going to be much longer I might as well.

I don't know about the release of 5.3 but do you know if it will support Windows 2012 Active Directory as 5.2 doesn't

We are using 5.2 in production and our domain controllers are all running Windows 2012 R2.  We have had no issues with View 5.2 and the 2012 R2 upgrade.

The VMware End-User Computing team is pleased to announce the general availability of VMware Horizon View 5.3 and the Horizon View 5.3 Feature Pack.

Announced earlier this month, VMware Horizon View 5.3 with the latest Feature Pack brings full workstation-class user experience with high-performance 3D graphics with vDGA, media redirection of H264 encoded Windows Media files to Windows clients, support for Windows 8.1 desktops, support for deploying Windows Server 2008 as a desktop, enhanced abilities to access virtual desktops from any HTML5-capable web browser and a brand new way to use Horizon View in Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) deployments using View Direct Connect.
