2 Instant Clone Pools deleting state - How to refresh viewdbchk and iccleanup.cmd did not help

Hi, after changing storage on a Horizon8 test environment, I wanted to delete the 2 instant clone pools. It is showing deleting state. I did run viewdbchk - 0 machines with error in 0 desktop pools. Also the command iccleanup.cmd did not help (no internal VMs found. You are good to go)...

What are the cleaning commands i can use, before Horizon 8 (view 7.x ) I did use adsi edit, but now we use instant clone.

Thanks for your help! And stay healthy

Hi,

In Horizon 8 you can no longer use ADSI-Editor? Just asking, as we did not upgrade yet.

Usually, i would just delete the instant clone pool entries there, if one would get stuck in deleting state, which happend twice. Removing the pool entries in ADSI under OU=Server Groups, OU=Applications and removing the folders on the storage, if available, fixed it for me in the past.

I do not recommend any of this because it could potentially break your system as i am not aware of your environment.

Just wanted to share

Mat
