Currently there is a limit of 140 VMs per LUN when using fiber channel. Are you still using this limit to create desktop pools ?
What is the best approach when creating pools ? Creating them with 140 VMs limit ?

Can you please mention the version of vSphere and Horizon view you use?
for View 6, the max vms per LUN is 140 with VAAI enabled. See VMware Horizon View 6 sizing limits and recommendations (2080467) | VMware KB
140 (non-VAAI = 128 VMFS, 250+ NFS)
I´m using Horizon 7.1 and vSphere 6.5
