HCX version 4.4 showing duplicate entries for compute & network profiles
Do you see duplicate entries if you do a GET API call to list Network profiles and Compute profiles?
I am newbie to HCX. Kindly suggest how to find the entries from API call?
Can you share a screenshot please?
Cannot show screenshot here...
Powercli output showing only single value of Compute/Network profile but GUI showing 2 entries.
Have you tried clearing cache, using another browser? Incognito mode? Also is it the same using the plugin as well as the HCX manager page?
Yes, cleared cache but its still the same. Yes, it's same using the plugin as well as the HCX manager page.
Yes, cleared cache but its still the same. From plugin it's showing duplicate entries but from HCX manager page its showing correct i.e single entry.
API call and powercli outputs also show single entry but only HCX pugin in vCenter GUI shows duplicate entries of compute/network profiles. Any further suggestions on this?
Tried reboot?
Yes, already rebooted vCenter as well as HCX but still no luck.
I would open a support case, they will likely remove and reinstall the plugin.
Or update to HCX 4.4.1 which will install the new one.
Already upgraded to 4.4.1 but it didnt help.
In which case I would open an SR.
If Only HCX Plugin via VC shows duplicate entries ..It is an issue on vSphere Client.
Try clearing HTML Client cache.
Take a snapshot of VC and try the below.
STEPS TO CLEAR HTML CACHE :
service-control --stop vsphere-ui
Clear the user cache:
cd /storage/vsphere-ui/SerenityDB/serenity/
Clean tomcat cache:
cd /usr/lib/vmware-vsphere-ui/server/work/
Clean client plugin cache:
/etc/vmware/vsphere-ui/vc-packages/vsphere-client-serenity/
Remove/clear the contents of the cmCatalog directory:
/etc/vmware/vsphere-ui/cmCatalog
(you can use rm -r * when in the directory)
service-control --start vsphere-ui
