HCX Migration extended options - change IP address

I'm trying to change IP address of Windows VM with HCX migrate extended options.

But the IP set in the extended options is not effective in migrated VM.

What am I missing?

I believe HCX leverages VMware Tools to change the IP address. Are they installed and running within the VM being migrated?

Thanks, that's a good check. But VMTools are running on the vm.

Okay, you'll have to check the VMware tools log to work out why there's an issue changing the IP address.

Thanks, For me this use case priority was lowered and that's why I couldn't respond here in time.
