I downloaded the prerelease of fusion for the m1 MacBook Air I own which runs Monterey. Every time I try to start up the vm, it gives me this message:
This virtual machine cannot be powered on because it requires the X86 machine architecture, which is incompatible with this Arm machine architecture host.
Can anyone help?
Also im not tech savvy, so I may need some help understanding the procedures.
Well, the procedure is as follows:
The Tech Preview for Apple Silicon Macs will (a) only run on an M1 Mac (and M2 once released), and (b) only load/run virtual machines which are configured to use a CPU with an ARM architecture. If you have Intel compatible x86/x86-64 virtual machines, they will NOT run on these computers.
