error message saying VMware won't with my version 10.15 for my iMac

I received an error on my iMac saying VMware requires system 11 and mine is 10.15, is there a version of VMware that supports my iMac?

You’re posting this in the Tech Preview forum, so I’m assuming you’re trying to install the Tech Preview on an Intel iMac.

It’s not explicitly documented, but I believe that the Tech Preview is based on Fusion 12.2. That version requires macOS 11 Big Sur or 12 Monterey. It wouldn’t surprise me that the “universal” 22H2 Tech Preview would have this requirement for Intel Macs. A lot of us have been running the TP on M1 Macs that run macOS 11 or 12 so we may not have seen this.

You will need Fusion Fusion 12.1.x (not 12.2.x) or 11.5.x to run on your iMac running macOS 10.15 Catalina.
