Your post needs moving, so I have reported it.
As noted in the Tech Preview Testing Guide, shared folders are not yet supported by the VMware Tools for Windows on Apple silicon. I'm sure VMware is working to add support for that and the other missing features before final release.
As an alternative to Fusion shared folders you can set up Windows file sharing on your Mac and access your shared folders with that. It's liable to work better than Fusion shared folders since it's using Windows file sharing/SMB protocols - biggest downside is it's over the network.
Or if you have Microsoft 365, you can always use OneDrive.
