Version e.x.p (20486664) on 2018 i7 Mac mini, Check for Update, returns; Product not found message

Does the update process for the experimental 22H2 version bypass the Check for Update in the menu?

I would expect to see it returning no update available, but didn't expect Product Not Found.

The update process doesn't work in the tech preview.

We expect a full release in the next week or so.
