Fusion 22H2 Tech Preview "Internal Error" after upgrading to new encryption scheme

Hi,

I just tried to update my existing Windows 11 arm VM to the new encryption scheme, but after it's done an "Internal Error" occurs. The message is something like "the machine got encrypted successfully, but after that an internal error occured". After that it's impossible to start up the machine, even after restarting Fusion or the host machine (M1 Pro MacBook Pro). Keeping the old encryption scheme works fine with all new feature like hardware acceleration and vmware-tools.

Best,
Brian

You are posting to the wrong forum. The 22H2 Tech Preview is over.

If you're using the new 2023 Tech Preview, please see the following forum: https://communities.vmware.com/t5/Fusion-2023-Tech-Preview/ct-p/fusion2023

This issue looks similar to one that already has been posted in that forum and seems to have gotten the attention of the VMware developers.
