vcbmounter and snapshots collision

I am trying to use vcbmounter to backup vms , some however are fighting me with the following error:

+ /usr/sbin/vcbMounter -h host.name.com -u root -p <password> -a moref:64 -r /mnt/exportvm/engrcpas -m cos -L 6 -M 1 -F 1

how do I get around this snapshot issue. the directory for this machine looks like this

It would really be best to not use snapshots as a permanent items. For a more permanent solution use templates. Snapshots should be something that you use, and then revert or delete.

What are those snapshots? Are they from VCB or others you had existing prior to running VCB?

They are from snapshots made in the gui as a couple worked after I wen

into the VI client deleted all snapshot then it worked. Do you know if

this behavior is by design or a bug?

remove the snapshot with the text VCB in it.

there are no VCB snapshots thats the weird part they are all vic snapshots that I would like to keep if possible.

here is what I have:

But why is the log file complaining about a snapshot called "VCB-BACKUP"? check the description/name in the snapshot manager....

Are you sure there is no VCB snapshot from a previous mount, perhaps that was never unmounted? Could be an orphan as well...
