What are your needs for a service from VMware or partners to upgrade from VI3 to vSphere 4? There is an existing "fixed scope" service at
plus VMware or partners can craft a custom service to upgrade your VI3 environment to vSphere 4.
What matters most to you? Is it
- revisiting your design to take advantage of new vSphere 4 features or resource capabilities?
- it's always good to rearchitect when you upgrade to a new major version (i.e. avoid stale designs?)
- Have someone show and share best practices in some systems, so you can learn and deploy into your own environment as you expand?
