help with equallogic and vmotion

I already have a few volumes created on my Equallogic and have my vm hosts using it for their vm's. I'm trying to setup vmotion now, so that my other vmhost can access the same volume. I have the volume only locked down to 192.168.5.* and also the chap name. I don't have it locked down to the iscsi initiator name. I imagine now both vm hosts should be able to see it. Is this all that's required?

Looks like I also have to check the checkbox for allowing shared access by multiple iscsi iniators as well.

Sounds like you solved your problem.

You don't need to have it "locked down", access control list or ACL'd, with IP, CHAP and iSCCI initiator, just any one of the three will do - remember you are limited to 16 ACLs per volume.

From firmware 4.x, by default, the Volumes are single access.

Go in Advanced properties (on Equallogic storage)
