Anyone know how Weblogic is licensed in VMware virtual machine?
Since Oracle bought BEA sometime ago, did they change Weblogic licensing similar to Oracle DB for which you need license for each core in ESX cluster running DB VM?
So I finally got answer from Oracle, Weblogic is licensing model is equal to Oracle Database. This means that you need to pay license for each CPU core in your ESX cluster, and not only for VM you run your Weblogic in.
