Vmotion compatibility between Intel CPU families?

We have two IBM x366's that are running 3.66 GHz Xeon MP processors. If we add a new server running quad-core Xeon 7330 processors, is there any chance of successful Vmotion between the old and new boxes?

Going by that KB article, it looks like the single-core 3.66 MHz Xeon MP in the x366 would fall into Pentium 4 CPU family table, Group B. I'm not clear where the quad core 7330 fits in, though. Group C in that table mentions "For example, Paxville, Dempsey and Tulsa, or numbered 50xx, 7xxx", but I think the 7330 would likely fall into the 2nd table somewhere. Any thoughts?

In the link I provided, at the top, you will see The VMotion Compatibility Matrix. That will tell you whether or not they will work. If they are not in the same group, then they are not compatible.

hope this helps.
