Virtualizing MSCS Server

Hi there, I have an ESX 3.5 HA environment and want to do away with my MSCS cluster. Does anyone have any suggestions, tips, links, etc on what needs to be done to remove MSCS, keeping shares etc so it can be virtualized?

Thanks in advance!

certainly the approach I'd take.

although if you are feeling clever , you could build a new guest with plenty of storage ( possibly an RDM , or just a large VMFS store for IO performance ) then create a DFS root with your existing cluster. Add the new Server in as a DFS target and let DFS do the replication for you ?

The bottom line is that MSCS is more granular etc etc ... but high availability at the virtual infrastructure level will win over time. It's inevitable in my opinion. It's just better.
