Virtualising WebSphere Application Server - VMware vs. zVM / zLinux

Hi All,

Looking for any information people may have on virtualising IBM's WebSphere product range, specifically the J2EE Application Server, and MQ Series server.

I'm particular interested in the sorts of consolidation ratio's you are getting, and would like to hear about any benchmarks undertaken. I'm doing comparitive analysis between VMware/Linux on x86, and zVM/zLinux on IBM zSeries for WebSphere application server in particular.

I've already seen the 2006 joint IBM / VMware benchmark document, which provided much food for thought, but would love to hear from anybody that has serious production VMware / WAS in use.
