I'd like to get some thoughts on the role of "virtual compute blocks" in the management of virtual infrastructure. How does defining virtual compute blocks help manage the infrastructure? What is it's role in management tools like provisioning, chargeback, monitoring, and reporting? What are the problems with the concept?
THanks

Thanks for your reply - I see the product that you are referring to as being a solution someone can buy but I'm not sure I see the issue of the concept of virtual compute blocks being addressed or discussed specifically. I'm really looking more to get a discussion of the concept of virtual compute blocks from a logical standpoint more than a device I can buy.
