Virtual Center 2.5 + ESX 3.0 and ESX 3.5 ?

Hello,

I'd like to know if I can have both ESX 3.0 and ESX 3.5 servers in the same DRS and HA cluster using Virtual Center 2.5? Are There any incompatibility between these versions? May I use all feature from all servers?

And if I use Virtual Center 2.0, can I have both ESX 3.0 and ESX 3.5 servers in the same DRS and HA cluster? Are There any incompatibility between these

versions? May I use all feature from all servers?

Tks!

Yes.

No.

3.02 servers can't use features only available to 3.5 servers, like update manager, but otherwise yes.

RParker,

I've updated the first message because I have another doubt.

" And if I use Virtual Center 2.0, can I have both ESX 3.0 and ESX 3.5

servers in the same DRS and HA cluster? Are There any incompatibility between these versions? May I use all feature from all servers?"

The client already have a VMware Infrastructure with Virtual Center 2.0 and ESX 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 servers. They bought new ESX 3.5 servers and the want to manage them with the Vritual Center already installed. Will it work fine?

Tks!
