VMware fault tolerance storage.

Hi.

I have been looking at the vmware fault tolerance solution and have i question:

Can you store the primary and the secondary VMs on dirffent data stores? If you can, will this provide storage redundancy as well?

Tanks in advance.

Fault tolerance is not relevant to your storage. You can make set up online duplication and failover on storage level, but it will work even for non-FT VMs. Or not work.

If it works for non-FT VM, it will definitely work for FT VM.
