Hi
I want to document a detailed checklist of items to go through when doing VMware infrastructure healthchecks for my customers. I have some usual things that I normally check such as ntp services, snapshot control, firewall, snmp, vSwitches configured properly.... I would like to know what things you guys look out for to achieve a best practice setup.
Thanks
Hugo

Maybe check to see what patches are installed.
I like to check the redundancy of my vSwitches by unplugging one of the teamed phyiscal NICS and verifying that I maintain connectivity on the one functional NIC.
You might look through some of these to find some good general tips and best practices...

That's a very nice script.
Obviously, using it as a first point of reference to work from is a good idea. Then it is possible to make the best practice changes based on the information provided.
Thanks very much guys.

I also use it almost daily and it's a very cool script.
