VI3 Foundation/Starter Edition - What are the technical differences?

I am hoping someone can help with the technical differences between the Foundation and Starter editions of VMware Infrastructure 3? I am able to see at a high level what the differences are but I would like to understand at a technical level. Can someone provide a link that compares the editions or provide some detail on the limitations (e.g. no SAN connectivity in Foundation)?
